The actor changed his name to "Ace" - a childhood nickname - because of the mispronunciations and puns on his first name, Ahsen. Other credits include minor roles in Family Pride, Cardiac Arrest, Band of Gold, Holding On, Grafters, Peak Practice, Silent Witness, Bend It Like Beckham, Emmerdale, Holby City, Blue Murder, Cold Blood 2, New Street Law, The Bill, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Casualty, New Tricks, The Sarah Jane Adventures and most recently, was cast in the more regular role of Yusef Khan in EastEnders.
