Synopsis
  • Aquaman is about to try and communicate with a giant star-shaped being at the bottom of the sea. Meanwhile, Flash runs to see Batman, who is dissecting a smaller such being. Batman tells Flash it is a parasitical machine likely designed to locate and prepare suitable hosts, colonizing the host minds, taking control of the body and finally the planet's eco-system. The League then learns that there are more of the star-shaped beings in the atmosphere. Elsewhere, Superman and Wonder Man fight civilians who have had their bodies taken over by the smaller star shaped beings. When Aquaman encounters trouble, Orion attacks the star shaped being at the bottom of the sea, and is blown skyward by an energy blast. Zauriel then arrives and saves Aquaman. The League wake up from their Starro-induced dream; Starro has retreated from Earth after encountering too much resistance. One month later, Hippolyta bids her farewell to the League now that her daughter Diana has reclaimed her place as the team's Wonder Woman. Just as Superman escorts Hippolyta to the JLA Watchtower's teleporter, seven strangers materialize in front of the League and introduce themselves as the Justice Legion A, hailing from the future.
