  • Forest Bandits are outlaws that inhabit and roam the dense forests of Calradia, mainly around the Kingdom of Swadia. They spawn in groups of 4 to 52. Forest Bandits are Swadian brigands, which makes their usage of the bow somewhat odd considering Swadian troops prefer the crossbow. This may be intentional though, as historically the crossbow would have been for professional soldiers only, meaning the Bandits would have to be deserters to get crossbows.

Forest Bandits have been slightly changed between original Mount&Blade and Warband: in the original game their main weapon was Longbow ( historically accurate weapon of woodsmen and outlaws in middle ages), but in Warband they get Hunting and Short Bows only, making them a bit weaker.
