  • A powerful gale blew through the Land of Earth. Raian Getsueikirite, the sole owner of the Rinnegan since the days of Madara Uchiha, sat on the banks of the ocean, watching the sun set. His mind was on the gloom of his past, and the promise of the future. As the waves broke against the rocks, he leaped down to the soft sand below him to begin his training once again. He had to perfect his Rinnegan....to see his brother once again.

Kai Saizu, the former Raikage, and the new ANBU Black Ops leader was just returning from a mission, and was walking along a road, but then, he felt a chakra. This chakra was one with great pressure, and that pressure seemed exceptionaly strong. Raian was oblivious to the former Raikage, who was so close by. Instead, he was deep in thought. His eyes reacted to the chakra around him, he could tell someone was there. Raian shrugged it off; mastery of his Rinnegan was all that mattered to him. He stepped out onto the waves of water, using his chakra to balance himself. "Nagato..." he thought quietly. The water around him surged as he began to activate his chakra. "I'll train until my eyes are able to see you again. Then I'll use my powers to bring you back..." Kai was now approaching closer, and then he was able to catch a glimpse of those legendary eyes. "This....this is the Rinnegan!" Kai then reached into his bag, and pulled out a scroll. He then placed it on the ground, and walked closer to the feared figure. Raian slowly turned and finally faced the figure completely, "What do you want? Please don't stare, it isn't polite." said Raian, feeling awkward. His eyes always got that kind of reaction from everyone. It irritated him. Hadn't they seen a dōjutsu before? In his opinion, the Sharingan looked weirder.
