  • The M12 Kobalt-H is a Nanite Systems anti-infantry primary weapon available to the Harasser. The Kobalt is a fast firing machine gun able to deal damage to all lightly armored vehicles as well as infantry. It cannot, however, damage MBTs, Lightnings, Galaxies or Liberators. In general, the M20 Basilisk is a more reliable choice than the M12 Kobalt. Whilst the Kobalt may kill infantry faster than the Basilisk, it is generally not fast enough to warrant losing the high damage versus all targets that the Basilisk brings to the field.

abstract
  • The M12 Kobalt-H is a Nanite Systems anti-infantry primary weapon available to the Harasser. The Kobalt is a fast firing machine gun able to deal damage to all lightly armored vehicles as well as infantry. It cannot, however, damage MBTs, Lightnings, Galaxies or Liberators. The M12 Kobalt's main purpose is to provide effective anti-infantry support to the Harasser it is attached to, and with a high muzzle velocity, moderate fire rate and high damage, it does this job very well. However, the Kobalt leaves the Harasser without a reliable primary weapon to help the driver versus heavily armored vehicles, such as enemy MBTs. In general, the M20 Basilisk is a more reliable choice than the M12 Kobalt. Whilst the Kobalt may kill infantry faster than the Basilisk, it is generally not fast enough to warrant losing the high damage versus all targets that the Basilisk brings to the field.
