  • Peter Kairoff is an American pianist and educator. Born in Los Angeles in 1955, he completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California in 1985. He also studied in Italy for two years as a Fulbright Scholar and Rotary International Fellow. He is Professor of Music at Wake Forest University, where he has taught since 1988. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe and South America. His recordings of American 19th Century composers George Whitefield Chadwick and Horatio Parker are published by Albany Records, and have been noted for their "poetry and rhythmic drive" and "lightness and energy".
