- The alien was quite agile and athletic, and its claws could rip through metal. It could also spit a disgusting goo out its mouth which trapped its opposition in a sticky unescapable webbing. This extraterrestial menace was also quite strong. It also licked Sissi's face, rather lovingly. Finson based it off the alien in the American movie Alien, as pointed out by Ulrich. - An alien, in the broadest sense, is someone or something not native to where they currently are. In the common sense of most fiction, though, it means anything originating from an extraterrestrial source. For example, a tiny, inferior, squishy creature may consider a giant, talking robot to be an alien, while at precisely the same time the robot could find the fleshling to be the alien. Contrary to Hollywood, not all aliens have long heads and mouths on their tongues. Although some will scare the ever-loving crap out of you anyway.
- There's always been a theory dashing around humans, that there is life outside our planet. That theory is technically correct, but not in the traditional sense. There is indeed life outside our planet, a single life. A single alien, a very lonely one. All it wants is a few friends, but sadly, it's too far for your technology to travel at this time. Now, as I said earlier, the alien shouldn't be feared. But what you should be afraid of is the fact that the home planet for these monsters is Earth, and I'm pretty sure that was their shuttle they just sent off, not yours.

This might have been the end of the strange links between the two sci-fi franchises, but then The Name of the Doctor came along and added one more big one. But, it gets weirder...

abstract | - __NOEDITSECTION__
- Alien (or Alien Hominid) is an enemy and also one of the 31 Playable Characters in the game, Castle Crashers. His magical attacks are Fire and Non-Elemental. His starting weapon is the Alien Gun Alien's specialties include damage over time, extreme knockback, crowd clearing, and accelerated magic cast speed.
- An Alien is a species from another world and live across the galaxy.
- Scientists have been searching for evidence of extraterrestrial life outside of television, with little success. But humankind's destiny is to find, communicate and befriend alien life, for science fiction has decreed it as such. So researchers have pushed on with the search for intelligent life in outer space.
- Alien is a race of creature that is shared between all civilizations.
- The Alien, known for the film franchise of the same name, is a playable guest character in Mortal Kombat X.
- Alien was a competitor robot that failed to qualify for Series 3 of Robot Wars. However, it did compete in the Robotic Soccer tournament, losing to Evil Weevil despite neither robot managing to score.
- The Alien is the Paradox faction pet. Only members of Paradox may tame this pet, which is found in Nexus Tower. Players must Return to the Venture Explorer to find three Alien Pieces and then return to Vanda Darkflame. After bringing them to her, players must interact with the Paradox Pet-o-matic, then build a UFO to tame it.
- Alien is a science fiction horror franchise which has spawned several movies (including crossovers with Predator) and numerous other media such as comic books, graphic novels, books and video games. The franchise tells the stories of humanity's encounters with an insectoid extraterrestrial species generally referred to as "Aliens", or sometimes as "Xenomorphs". The Aliens' characteristics include having acid for blood, being generally hostile, having a social order which resembles that of ants or termites, and reproducing by implanting their embryos into unwilling hosts (often hapless humans). When the embryos mature into larvae, they violently burst out of the host's body, killing the host. The first film of the franchise was promoted under the tagline "In space no one can hear you scream", which quickly became a pop-culture catchphrase and one of the most recognizable movie slogans of all time. The Alien franchise and creatures have been referred to several times in the Simpsons universe, both in television episodes and comic stories.
- Aliens are antagonists in Kingdom Hearts II ½. They appear in various worlds.
- Aliens' constant complaints regarding Earth's air quality and longing for their home planet did not appear to translate to any specific task for Chibo-Robo. Aliens have a tendency to overheat (reacting to the bad air?) and need to be cooled down by the appropriate amount of water. Although at one time this heating problem seemed to be fixed by Drake Redcrest's blizzard attack, aliens will return to their previous/original state in continuing gameplay. Everything in the UFO appears to be operated by using Chibi-Blaster (often a charged up shot is required).
- The first film was directed by Ridley Scott. Scott was working in the BBC design department during 1963, and was assigned to design the serial that would come to be known as The Daleks. A scheduling conflict arose and Raymond Cusick took over the project instead. Two years later, Scott began directing episodes of television shows for the BBC, but the majority of his work for them has been destroyed. Four years prior, an episode of Doctor Who titled The Ark in Space had aired. It was a horror story set on a space ship where, after being awoken from hypersleep, some working-class human astronauts encounter a hostile alien life form that kills not just by eating, but by corrupting and assimilating the human crew member it first encounters. After a struggle through the dark, twisted bowels of the ship, the alien is killed when it attaches itself to a small shuttle pod that leaves the larger space craft and gets destroyed. It was awesome, and so is Alien, because they're the same story. The only thing Doctor Who didn't have was the facehuggers, and that was just a few decades away... This might have been the end of the strange links between the two sci-fi franchises, but then The Name of the Doctor came along and added one more big one. But, it gets weirder...
- U.F.O. stands for Unidentified Flying Object. It refers to any object seen in the sky that can not be immediately identified. Upon identification it is no longer a U.F.O. Many people, either driving in cars or in bed, have been found woken up. Hours later! Along with that, people have found odd marks on their body. Psychiatrist's hypnotize people into either telling him/her about what happened or make a sketch of what the Aliens looked like. Many people wonder: "Are we really alone in the Universe?" The answer is uncertain, but many people belive; we are not alone. In fact, with so many planets out there, it is very likely there actually is lifeon at least one other planet. Many people speculate that Mars, the 4th planet from the sun, was(Or still is) inhabited by Aliens. We call them Martians.
- Blue Aliens are strange beings that eat poop. They hate waffles . File:Mario head smaller.jpg This thing's a . It doesn't appear in dictionaries, so listen up what a stub is: A very small garbage can, with only a little junk. ADD MORE JUNK TO IT SO IT BECOMES A GIANT GARBAGE CAN!
- Alien refers to any being that is foreign to one's own homeworld. The term can be used affectionately or as xenophobic slang. See:
* Non-sentient lifeforms

- Aliens are characters in the Super Mario series. They first appeared in Mario Party 5. They have cameos in most of the other Mario Party games after Mario Party 5. Not much else in known about them.
- The Alien was a Hot Wheels casting designed by Larry Wood, which debuted in the 1988 Mainline as part of the Speed Fleet segment series. The casting was the 12th car in the 1999 Final Run Series and as a result, the tool has been destroyed. It is based on the real-life non-running prototype manufactured by IAD (International Automotive Design) which was revealed at the 1986 Turin Motorshow. It's modular construction proposed the idea that it's rear mounted engine could be easily removed for maintenance, upgrades or just to suit the driver, although as the car was non-functioning, this was purely theoretical. The entire canopy also tilted forward to allow access to the vehicle.
- It is currently unknown whether or not space aliens exist, although such eminent scientists as Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking have said that they probably do. They have argued that Earth is unlikely to be unique, given the vastness of space. A search for extraterrestrial intelligence (known by the acronym SETI) has been on going since 1960, although the idea of using radio to search for transmissions from alien civilizations was first suggested by the scientist Nikola Tesla in 1895. Organizations which are currently searching for signs of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe include the SETI Institute, Harvard University and the University of California, Berkley. This search is now largely privately funded, although in its early days it was heavily subsidized by the United States government. Some people claim that aliens regularly visit Earth, sometimes taking people and carrying out experiments on them. Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) sightings and claims of alien abduction are generally not taken seriously by the scientific community.
- Alien is a simulant buddy that can appear in Perfect Dark's Co-op mode. He is unlocked by completing the Attack Ship mission in under 5:17 on Special Agent.

- Alien is a term that refers to a sentient non-hominid species.
- Alien provided the genome for the Indio Norns, Sahara Norns, Junglenorns, Aquanorns an Pink Poodle Ettins. She also makes some rather snazzy (and fuzzy!) norndolls as well as grendeldolls and ettindolls. As she supports the OCSC (Open Creatures Stuff Center, created and hosted by Daniel Mewes) a lot of stuff on her site is free for others to take and work with. Alien is the author of the following :
* Alien Norns
* Gargoyle Norns
* Kunterbunt Norns
* Wingy Norns (Chichi Wingies, Bengal Wingies, Civet Wingies, Yellowstone Wingies) and also of the following :
* Fluffy Norns (original design by Tica)
* Gargoyle Norns
* Glow Norns v.2
* Opera Ettins (Idea, Voices and Genetics by NornenMeister)
* Wingy Norns (Emerald Wingies, Pixie Wingies, Desert Wingies) Alien also provided the German language files for Docking Station.
- The following is a list of known aliens in the Spaceman Spiff universe.
- "Alien" (Japanese: エーリアン Ērian) is an archetype of Reptile monsters. They were introduced in Power of the Duelist, with further support added in Cyberdark Impact, Strike of Neos, Force of the Breaker, Tactical Evolution, Gladiator's Assault, Crimson Crisis and Raging Battle. "Alien" Decks focus heavily on exploiting A-Counters, which weaken opposing monsters when they battle "Alien" monsters and facilitate the effects of "Alien" cards and related support.
- The term "Alien" has a variety of definitions and connotations, but the most popular and relevant one refers to extraterrestrial life forms (literally "beyond Earth" life forms, which live on other planets). There are many different speculations on just what aliens might look like and how they might behave, but as yet, no aliens have been discovered anywhere in our solar system, nor on extrasolar planets. Given the sheer number of galaxies, stars, planets, asteroids, moons, etc. in this universe, however, the existence of alien life is regarded by many as all-but undeniable, and Earth contains innumerable proofs that life can thrive in a variety of conditions, which increases the likelihood of alien life. exobiology is speculative but is accepted as a scientific discipline.
- See Elgar, Kirana, and Sorax.
- An alien, or more accurately extraterrestrial, is any life-form originating from beyond the planet Earth.
- The Alien is a super deformed extra terrestrial that appears in Dural's Virtua Fighter Kids FMV ending. Dural meets this alien in a spaceship when she flies in the air with balloons. They shake hands in the air, then Dural sits on the ship and they fly together. This article is a . You can help My English Wiki by expanding it.
- When referring to entities, it was used for sentient organic creatures. Usually, this means entities which are not native to Earth and were "alien" from the viewpoint of the human race. However, to any species not native to Earth, a human would be alien. Indeed, Sophie, a Valuxian, once referred to her human foster children as a bunch of "lovable, two-eyed alien mutants." (The Wedding)
- alien - Convert or install an alien binary package
- An alien is somebody who lives in a foreign country, although this name is often confused with a person who lives on another planet. Famous people who are aliens include Sting, Michael Jackson and Super Mario. A leen is like an alien but has infinitely more lard.
- The Alien Drones are specially trained for combat with the Astros. They wield an Energy Staff in CrystAlien Conflict.
In many Transformers continuities, in addition to humans and Cybertronians, there are both organic aliens and robotic aliens. Many of the organic ones look very human, and an awful lot of the robotic ones have the ability to transform like Cybertronians. The extent to which these similarities are coincidence varies from species to species, when it's explained at all. Aliens (besides Autobots and Decepticons) popped up infrequently during the second season of The Transformers, but played a far larger role in the third and fourth seasons. The Beast Era saw the introduction of the Vok, a species of energy-based creature. Depending on your point of view, Botanica's beast mode (mobile plant-creature) is an alien as well.
--Giacomo Contratto © all rights reserved

As Melanie Bush once pointed out to an English cabbie suddenly brought in the presence of extraterrestrials, "We're all aliens to each other." (AUDIO: Unregenerate!) The Time Lords labelled Leela an alien when she visited Gallifrey. The Fourth Doctor, posing to fool the Vardans, ordered that she be banished from the Capitol for being alien. (TV: The Invasion of Time) The term was trickier to apply to non-human Earth sapients. For instance, the Third Doctor referred to the Silurians as alien beings even after he discovered they had ruled the planet Earth millions of years before. (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians) However, the Eleventh Doctor later stated that they were not aliens but rather "Earth...liens". (TV: The Hungry Earth)

- Alien (エイリアン Eirian?) is the final boss from Mega Man 2. When the player enters his room, Dr. Wily will jump from his flying saucer and turn into a green alien. Its only weakness is Bubble Lead, and all other weapons refill all its energy when used against it. The Alien shoots and flies slowly throughout the room, always in a figure eight pattern. When it's defeated, it is revealed that it was just a hologram created by Dr. Wily to trick Mega Man, and the "alien" was a small flying object. The Alien appears near the end of the mini game "Tatakae! Rockman" in Pokeroku 2. He warps between the three paths and attacks with either a series of 4 arrow-shaped projectiles that can be destroyed with one shot (each worth 1 point) or an indestructible sphere. When the Alien's health is equal or lower than 8, it will stop attacking and warp faster, making him a harder target. Defeating the Alien is optional, as he will escape when Mega Man reaches the end of the path, but his defeat will grant the player 20 points and end the mini game. As each Charge Shot causes 10 damage to the Alien, it is recommended to defeat him only with them as he will be defeated with 8 hits instead of 80 normal shots (which is probably impossible due to the limited time) and will not warp due to the low health.
- Aliens are normally different humanoid species that do not originate from Earth, and vary wildly in appearance throughout the TimeSplitters series. The aliens in TimeSplitters 1 have unique characteristics that make them individualistic, while the aliens in TimeSplitters 2 can be lumped into two main groups: the Mox and the TimeSplitters (with the exception of Calamari, Baby Drone and Drone Splitter). - Alien is a 1979 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto. The film's title refers to its primary antagonist: a highly aggressive extraterrestrial creature that stalks and kills the crew of a spaceship. Dan O'Bannon wrote the screenplay from a story he wrote with Ronald Shusett, drawing influence from previous works of science fiction and horror. The film was produced through Brandywine Productions and distributed by 20th Century Fox, with producers David Giler and Walter Hill making significant revisions and additions to the script. The titular Alien and its accompanying elements were designed by Swisssurrealist artist H. R. Giger, while concept artists Ron Cobb and Chris Foss designed the human aspects of the film. Alien garnered both critical acclaim and box office success, receiving an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, Saturn Awards for Best Science Fiction Film, Best Direction for Scott, and Best Supporting Actress for Cartwright, and a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, along with numerous other award nominations. It has remained highly praised in subsequent decades, being inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress in 2002 for historical preservation as a film which is "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". In 2008 it was ranked as the seventh-best film in the science fiction genre by the American Film Institute, and as the 33rd-greatest movie of all time by Empire magazine. The success of Alien spawned a media franchise of novels, comic books, video games, and toys, as well as three sequel and three prequel films. It also launched Weaver's acting career by providing her with her first lead role, and the story of her character Ripley's encounters with the Alien creatures became the thematic thread that ran through the sequels Aliens (1986), Alien 3 (1992), and Alien Resurrection (1997). The subsequent prequels Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007) abandoned this theme in favor of a crossover with thePredator franchise. Scott began work on an Alien prequel in 2009, which developed into his 2012 film Prometheus, a quasi-prequel to Alien.

- Aliens are essences found from prospecting at the west side of the Junkyard.
- Their appearance is likened to the Greys of UFO folklore and popular culture, and their presence in Area 51 is directly tied to the myths surrounding the facility. This being the case, they serve no greater purpose to the plot of the game and are never referenced. They have large, round hairless heads. They feature very basic facial features: Nostrils, a small mouth, ears, a pointed chin and slanted black half-closed eyes. They are taller than a human. Only four are encountered. The first Alien is encountered in a dissection lab, where it appears that was being given a autopsy. This Alien features open wounds on its body. The second is preserved within a display case with the Orcas. The last two are within their space craft, quite possibly alive but in suspended animation. Their space craft is larger on the inside than on the outside, a demonstration of their truly other-worldly technologies and capabilities. The interior is almost organic in texture and quite dark. The floor squelches under Lara's foot. Trekking through the rather featureless rooms leads to what appears to be the cockpit of the vessel. Here the remaining two Aliens are found inside the walls. The circular room features chairs and control panels that only the Aliens seem to be able to operate. Element 115 can be found in the centre of the craft, the power source.

It's constantly surrounded by the corpses of its creator, the creator before that, and so on. You see, the way this "species" works is it births a single offspring with a single parent. The parent then dies, leaving the offspring to live on its life. It has to walk through its world, knowing it's the reason its creator is dead. It's the reason there's another one of those lifeless shells spread across its planet. I inform you of this not because it's dangerous, but because it's endangered. You human freaks need to speed up your technology and save it before the monsters reach it. Those that threaten this poor alien are ones that can be easily stopped if you have a Model 9 AGS 9021 Compact Laser Rifle, but you shouldn't have those for a few hundred years. So, that is to say, they're nearly unstoppable at this time. But you can find it on the alien's planet. It doesn't know it, but it holds one of the strongest weapons of all time in its tiny infant hands. If you can reach it in time, it'll kindly give it to you. If not, the monsters will surely have ripped it from the alien's cold, dead hands, driving the species to extinction. The species used to have millions, to be one of the most feared races in the universe. Then monsters, different from these, wiped them out. Now, as I said earlier, the alien shouldn't be feared. But what you should be afraid of is the fact that the home planet for these monsters is Earth, and I'm pretty sure that was their shuttle they just sent off, not yours.
- The Alien was a character in George McFly's first novel A Match Made in Space, which was published by Probert Publishing in 1985 and made into a movie in 1989. According to a story by Michael Klastorin on the front page of the October 22, 2015 issue of USA Today, Hollywood were planning a remake of the movie, to be directed and co-written by Robert Zemeckis. When Klastorin spoke to George at his home in Hill Valley about casting ideas for the remake, according to George there was only one man in his mind who could play the alien, and hoped he could convince Zemeckis to cast Christopher Lloyd in the role.

The alien also resembles the Predalien. This is probably a coincedence, because the predalien did not appear until 2004, while the episode aired in 2002.
