abstract | - Chad Hockney was a superhero wannabe, never seems the blade-wielding maniac type, but he is running around the city in a Lone Vengeance outfit, which cannot be purchased in stores and is what the killer in "Heroes and Villains" was wearing. Beckett and Castle pull him in for questioning, and discover a very passionate soul, who, despite using comic books as inspiration, does still generally distinguish fact from fiction, and attempts to make his fact more uplifting. He alibis out, on the grounds that his raucous sewing skills meant that his neighbors remember complaining about him all night, and slips off, presumably to seek a new mentor in the endless struggle with the darkness.
