| abstract | - The Hidden Order was a Jedi Order that started off with twenty-seven survivors of the great Jedi Purge, who decided to band together to keep the teachings of the Jedi preserved for centuries to come. Nu Lendai set it up as a result of escaping the Great Jedi Purge. He faked the deaths of many of the Jedi he met, including his own, to escape the empire. As a result, he successfully evaded capture and the Hidden Order had secret hideouts set up on Rhen Var, Polis Massa and Cerea. When the New Jedi Order became prominent, Nu Lendai entered a Stasis Sleep, preserving his body for many years. In 10,000 ABY he was awoken, as the Hidden Order had engaged in increasing amounts of activity in the war with the Sith. Lendai had been only vaguely aware of events happening while in his sleep, but he realized that the New Jedi Order had been severely reduced, while the Hidden Order had a huge number of Underground Jedi. The two merged to form a Reformed Jedi Order.
