  • The Colonial Insurgent Army was an Insurrectionist organization. Formed in 2540 by officers of the defunct United Rebel Front, by its high point in 2553, the organization had nearly half a million fighters under arms, and many supporters on the few surviving Outer Colonies. However, with the advent of the SPARTAN-IV Program, the organization began a rapid decline, however, fighters of the Insurgent Army were responsible for the deaths of seven SPARTAN-IV operators.

However, with the advent of the SPARTAN-IV Program, the organization began a rapid decline, however, fighters of the Insurgent Army were responsible for the deaths of seven SPARTAN-IV operators. However, in 2556, with the fall of Venezia to the United Nations Space Command, the headquarters of the organization was also destroyed, and with the loss of morale and organization, the member cells of the Insurgent Army fell apart, however, there were still continuation organizations in the 2560's, formed by officers from the defunct Insurgent Army.
