  • Woodstock - Three Days of Peace and Music
rdfs:comment
  • This is the Woodstock box set you should normally start with. It contains four CDs and a big booklet with some interesting photos. The music was originally released on Woodstock I and Woodstock II and was re-issued as this box set on Woodstock's 25th anniversary. It's really a beautiful package and four CDs may be enough for most of the people but it also has its weaknesses. As the movie captures interviews, stage comments and the crowd in general you can't find something like that on the discs. The music is distracted from the festival.
