Dr.Gero would use this perfect time to begin developing Androids 13, 14, and 15, 3 new (not new to Trunks) Androids that Gero would create to exact his believed second chance at world domination. Gero is also trying to recreate and reincarnate his Red Ribbon Army with an army of new Androids. However, Gero is not Trunks's and the Z-Figthers's only enemy as Trunks, Goku, and the others have to prepare for a few more Saiyans and a few old enemies.
