Outside of voicing characters, Martin appeared on The Edge of Night, All My Children, The Cosby Show, Person Of Interest, and Law & Order. She continues to this day making occasional cameos in its spinoff, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2016, Martin portrayed Florel Bernstein in the controversial film 37, detailing a fictionalised account of the 1964 murder of Kitty Genovese.
