When the Krytos virus struck the capital world, Dr. Pavan used every resource at his disposal to aid in combating the illness. Though the nancy-boys of Rouge Squadron got most of the credit, the scientist was rewarded with a comfortable stipend. Many years later, he would also provide insight into the de-Vongforming of Coruscant.
