- All Ingr’Nysk possess inherent Force sensitivity. For over ninety-nine percent of the Ingr’Nysk population, this sensitivity manifests itself in minor forms, such as increased reflexes, precognition, and so forth. However, approximately one out of every million Ingr'Nysk is born with a much higher degree of Force potential. Capable of influencing the will of others, extraordinary physical feats, and other such abilities, these unique children are nonetheless very unstable. Known as the Forgotten, if left to mature in an unsuitable environment, such as normal living conditions, these individuals will eventually succumb to their powers and erupt in a devastating display of Force energy. These corrupt Forgotten are known as kolar’keeri. As such, Ingr'Nysk society has implemented numerous scre
- This is a mean and cold town, I hate this fucking place. Watch the rats as they all drown, Dying slowly day by day. Decrepit and falling down, Cesspool of human waste. Swallow profit in deep now In death you'll finally know the taste. There are no souls left here to save. Forgotten, lost angels, long disgraced. You fucking hypocrite, But hooks in lips they do not lie. Compassion served not on your plate, How many of them have you watched die? I can't sing you a happy song, I can't write you a sing-a-long, The only catchy hook I've got, Is the one in my bleeding gut. Burn it down Burn it down
- Trixie opened the door to her sister’s old bedroom slowly and carefully, as if a dangerous creature was being held in there. No one had stepped foot in the room for months, not since Iantha left them. Trixie didn’t know why she was in Iantha’s old room. It was almost empty, just a bed with messed up sheets, a pile of dirty clothes and a desk covered in flasks of chemicals. Somehow she felt drawn to it, as if she didn’t feel so bitter towards her sister. Something inside Trixie ached for that day. But nothing could bring Iantha back. Trixie stomped out of the room.
- Memories. They’re how we know what has happened. Everything you remember goes in to who you are, why you act the way you do. It’s a shame that people are not afflicted by the things they cannot remember. Especially you. Memories are funny like that. Sometimes, when something so wonderfully frightening happens to you, your silly mind blocks it out to "protect you." While it might think it’s doing you a favor, it kills me to see it take those things away from you. Amazing things have happened to you. Horrible things have happened to you. ... No, I suppose you wouldn’t. Credited to Sama
- The Forgotten are a race of four-armed serpent creatures that supervised and maintained all of Tyria nearly 2,600 years from the present day in the game. Unlike regular serpents, they stood upright, used language, and had an elaborate culture. The Forgotten Ones were brought to Tyria by the Gods of Tyria around the year 1769 BE to assist the dragon prophet Glint. They were to be the custodians, who instructed and guided other races in the formative period of the history of Tyria and maintained balance between all races. They were the keepers of knowledge and the teachers of all things.

Iantha had walked away from two loving parents and an innocent little sister. Didn't she care about them? Okay, maybe Trixie had set Iantha up to get her into trouble, and maybe she had wanted her parents to herself, but now she wanted Iantha back. She was lonely, and sorry about what she had done... No, she wasn’t sorry. It was Iantha’s fault, anyway. If she just stopped inventing like her father told her to she wouldn’t have turned into a platypus, and she wouldn't have run away. It was Iantha's fault, not Trixie's. But why did she feel so guilty? Trixie turned to leave the room and tripped over a box. Furious, she kicked it and the contents spilled out. A stuffed dog fell out of the box, and Trixie held her breath. She recognized it. It was so long ago, it seemed like a dream. It was Iantha's eleventh birthday, and Trixie had spent weeks sewing her a stuffed dog. It wasn't very realistic looking, in fact, it looked like a hair ball instead of a dog, but Iantha couldn't stop thanking Trixie for it. That afternoon, the two played with the dog for hours, naming it Schemp and introducing it to all of Iantha's other stuffed animals. Something inside Trixie ached for that day. But nothing could bring Iantha back. Trixie stomped out of the room.

They were to be the custodians, who instructed and guided other races in the formative period of the history of Tyria and maintained balance between all races. They were the keepers of knowledge and the teachers of all things. With the arrival of humans in Tyria in 205 BE, the role of the Forgotten Ones quickly diminished as the humans mastered many skills, acquired much knowledge, and irreversibly broke the balance that had been maintained for over a millennium. The Forgotten Ones quietly withdrew into the Crystal Desert where humans never succeeded in establishing a civilization and slowly became a myth in the history of humankind. The Forgotten can be encountered as foes throughout all the missions of Ascension and the Dragon's Lair. They are also encountered as NPCs that provide valuable experience in quests such as The Forgotten Ones and Forgotten Wisdom.

While it might think it’s doing you a favor, it kills me to see it take those things away from you. Amazing things have happened to you. Horrible things have happened to you. Even if you’ve forgotten, I will always remember. I was there with you every step of the way. I was standing in the shadows, watching you. Tormenting you. You have such exquisite fear, I can’t get enough of it. Over and over, I put you through the most exciting times of your life, watching each time as you collapse upon yourself in mindless terror. You’re exhilarating. If only I could watch you suffer forever... But that silly mind of yours. Each time, you forget what fun we’ve had and go on like nothing ever happened. You even read stories about horrific things, and you take pleasure in those horrors as I do. Yet, you could never even fathom how grand it is to watch you endure them. None of those stories could amount up to the terrors you’ve faced. I want to have more fun with you, and spend more time with you. I want to watch you screech in dismay again and again. I want to experience your agony a million times. I only wish you would remember the dread I put in you. I wish that you would remember me, and cry out in the night. It delights me thoroughly every time you see one of my abominations. You’re so resourceful, always finding a way to live without losing any of your limbs. If only I could watch you die as you scream, so scared for your life. If only the last memory you had was of me, making you drown in your fear as you begged for mercy, tears streaming down your face. I’d tell you I love you, and I would thank you for all the great times you’ve let me share with you. I think I would be truly happy as I watched you sink into your final, dying despair. If you were smart, you wouldn’t turn out those lights and pretend you’re not hearing strange noises. You wouldn’t distract yourself and remain alone, convinced that you’ll be okay. Do you remember what happened the last time you did? ... No, I suppose you wouldn’t. Credited to Sama
