The idea is to create a web site that contains the original text of Classical Latin Literature and then have a place for a translation and a place for notes on Grammar, Vocubalury, and Commentary on the literary text. The idea is to help students and those who already know how to read Latin enjoy the literature with some help. There could also be links to existing translations and outside reference links for history and images.

The idea is to help students and those who already know how to read Latin enjoy the literature with some help. There could also be links to existing translations and outside reference links for history and images. The idea is not to be a text book, but to allow the already skilled Latin reader to get up to speed with works they have not read in a while or at all by providing notes on some of the more unusual vocabulary or grammar. The notes are there as a sort of modern day gloss to make understanding the text much easier by presenting a more detailed context.
