| Biography | - Steve McGrath is a former NASCAR driver from New Canaan, CT. He competed in four Nextel Cup Series events in his career.
McGrath debuted in 1953, competing at North Wilkesboro. Starting 25th in the field of thirty-four, McGrath had a respectable race and wound up finishing 18th. He improved to a career-best 15th place effort at Charlotte before rounding out the year 27th at Langhorne.
McGrath's final race would have to wait until 1960, when he competed at Darlington. Starting 42nd in the field of forty-eight, McGrath lasted half of the race before an engine issue left him 28th.
