Born on the Human Colony World of Kholo in October 2524 to a distinguished Doctor and High school teacher, Renton lived happily in a well educated environment provided by his parents. Instead of going to a public school, his parents opted for him to be home schooled. His father often brought him to work and while on break, he would take the time to teach his son several medical applications as well as basic knowledge in medicine. His mother on the other hand, gave Renton a proper education. However, not only was she well educated but she was well versed in physics and philosophy, passing down her knowledgeable education down to her son.
