Ruunis deomstarted pure skill and useful tactics when dealing with such preadtors, and led the Kaleesh into numerous victories over the warlords. During the height of the war, Ruunis was spotted and studied by a Sith Lord for training. At the time of a battle, Ruunis became injured by one of the Huk's, leaving his soldeirs to forge the battle further out west. Ruunis lay dying, abandoned and left with bodies around him, but that was exactly when the Sith arrived, hoping to lure the warrior into a trap. Eventually, Ruunis accepted the trial, agreeing to kill countless Jedi across the galaxy if he were to be saved, soon being given eternal power of a Sith Master. Ruunis healed and rejuvinated for weeks in a bacta tank on the planet of Korriban, where he woukd be given trials to eliminate Jedi. Years later, the newly reborn Darth Vain created the Decretion Lords of Decimation, begining his own empire. Vain recruited thousands of Sith, declaring himself Supreme Chancellor of the project, due to his work. Darth Vain lived many years, and cause crippling to hsi enimies, while keeping his squandrons alive and victorious.
