DUBBING CHANGES
  • *In the original version, when MaloMyotismon uses Screaming Darkness on all the partner Digimon, he does not call out the name of the attack. *In the original version, when the all the partner Digimon are struggling against MaloMyotismon's Screaming Darkness, Mimi's voice is heard and she tells Palmon and all the partner Digimon to "hang in there". *In the original version, unlike the international DigiDestined, Mimi never called out Palmon's name before the light from her Digivice rises to the sky. In the English version, after MaloMyotismon uses Screaming Darkness on the partner Digimon, Palmon says "We have to fight him, Mimi, but I need your help" in which Mimi replies "I'm right here for you, Palmon". In the original version, Palmon said "Is this all you've got? We're not losing to you" and Mimi adds "We'll do our best too". *In the original version, as the DigiDestined descend to the Digital World, Mimi says "we finally made it". In the English version, she says "hey, look at what we brought..." and continues to say even though she's off screen "DigiDestined from all over the world!". *In the original version, instead of adding more statements about believing in the DigiDestined, Sora's father, Haruhiko Takenouchi, said that the DigiDestined are capable of doing what they can't and Sora's mother, Toshiko Takenouchi, bids Sora and all the DigiDestined "good luck". *In the original version, Yue Hong's partner Digimon, Apemon, was named Hanumon. Due to this change, Yue Hong had to add the command "go" before calling out Apemon's name. *In the original version, when the DigiDestined around the world are breaking through the darkness, and when Oikawa sacrifices himself, the insert song Our Digital World is played . In the english version, the solo of Koji Wada replaced by an off-screen speech by Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy and Joe. *Also, in the original version, while the kids were talking about their dreams, the song Sun Goes Down by AiM is also heard playing, though it is hard to hear the song in the background and can be easily missed. *In the original version, the opening theme song to the previous series, Butter-Fly, is played during the epilogue. This was changed to generic music in the English dub. *In the original version, when T.K. is narrating, he begins in his present voice, which merges and eventually becomes his adult voice . *In the original epilogue, when showing still shots of the DigiDestined and their partner Digimon in their professions, their voices can be heard while the narrator speaks.
CONTINUITY ERRORS
  • *Unlike most of the international DigiDestined whose partner Digimon were sent back to the Digital World by the main DigiDestined, Derek's, Catherine's and Rosa's partner Digimon weren't. They are clearly seen celebrating Christmas with partners near the end of Digimon World Tour, Pt. 3. However, Crabmon, Floramon and Gotsumon are somehow in the Digital World in this episode. *Noriko is able to go through the gate to the digital world with the old Digidestined while she doesn't have a Digivice, although it was said in previous episode that the only way to enter the Digital world is to have a Digivice.
ANIMATION ERRORS
  • *As the DigiDestined descend to the Digital World, Tai, who unlike all the other DigiDestined whose partner Digimon are in the Digital World, has Agumon right beside him and has two beams of golden light coming from his Digivice. One is connected to Agumon while the other is heading down to the ground. However in a close-up of Tai and Agumon, only the light connected to Agumon remains while the light connected to the ground is gone. *One of the newly DigiDestined background children's partner Digimon is inconsistently colored changing from pink to gray between screens showing him.

MISCELLANEOUS TRIVIA
  • *The new DigiDestined announce the episode title in the Japanese episode. *When the international DigiDestined begin rising into the sky to go to the Digital World, Tatum is not seen doing so. However, as the DigiDestined descend to the Digital World, she is seen behind Mimi together with Lou and Phil . *Michael does not call out the name of his partner Digimon, Betamon, unlike the rest of the International DigiDestined depicted. *The episodes Japenese title, "Bokura no Digital World", is also the title of the insert song used when the DigiDestined were breaking through the darkness and when Oikawa sacrifices himself. *This episode contains the only instance of both of Joe's brothers being shown together; they are shown standing next to each other in one of the shots of the DigiDestineds' relatives. *In the Japanese version, when T.K. narrates the DigiDestined's careers, the lines said by them are . *When T.K. is narrating the careers on what Digidestined is doing now, Kari is the only Digidestined to not get a shot of her in the real world of what she does.
