| abstract | - The Noolans were a sentient mammalian species native to the Outer Rim planet Noola in the Noola system. Their homeworld became part of the Relgim sector, an area of space explored between 3,000–25 BBY. During the Galactic Civil War, the Noolan Otolia Ratiuv, a technician, found her body occupied by the essence of Nana, a Rebel-affiliated member of the Homanan species, following an explosion near a Jedi Force crystal. Nana gained telepathy from the transfer and continued serving in the Alliance to Restore the Republic in her new body. Throughout the Galactic Civil War, the territory surrounding the Noola system remained under Imperial control until 17 ABY, and, following spells under the administration of the New Republic and the Yuuzhan Vong Empire, it returned to Imperial control by 40 ABY.
