  • Wildfire was a peculiar phenomenon observed once or twice a year in the city of Raven's Bluff and was defined as the ability to use magic when placed in dangerous situations, albeit haphazardly and in a chaotic fashion. It manifested itself in a small portion of the residents, and people who exhibited signs of wildfire were always native residents of Raven's Bluff who had no formal training in the arcane arts. The Warlord Myrkyssa Jelan discovered the reason for this: a wild mythal, built by the Dark Elves. • Alaska had an unprecedented pair of fire seasons during the summers of 2004 and 2005. Alaska's boreal forest is biologically programmed to burn approximately every 150 years. Mild snow cover, and a lack of summer rain extend the fire season and increase the likelihood that large fires will occur. These fires are often in remote areas, and are not supressed. Fire is recognized as a natural force in the boreal forest ecosystem, however it appears to be taking a more dominant role in recent years than it historically has played.

  • Transformation: Blake and Bennie have the ability to transform together from their normal state into Wildfire and back again through an act of will. Elemental Transmutation: Wildfire has the ability alter the atomic structure of inanimate matter down to the molecular level. He can affect an object's density and mass as well, reconfiguring it into any shape or design that his imagination could conceive. This power was exclusive to inert material and could not successfully affect living biological mass. Any attempt to molecularly alter the characteristics of a living entity would result in a massive biofeedback of energy. Density Control: Wildfire can alter the density of his body making him insubstantial enough that he can phase through solid objects. Energy Absorbtion: Wildfire can absorb energy into his body and convert it into atomic power. Energy Projection: Wildfire can absorb and project nuclear radiation and emit it as offensive blasts of energy. Flight: Through an act of will, Wildfire can fly without the aid of wings or artificial enhancements. He can fly beyond the outer reaches of Earth’s atmosphere and can travel to the moon with little impediment. He can survive in outer space without equipment. He can reach speeds in excess of 600 mph.

Wildfire is the personal ship of dashing test pilot Ace Rimmer and has a female-personalitied, sultry-voiced sentient computer, which is madly in love with it's pilot, often begging Ace to not go on dangerous missions. The most advanced spaceship ever devised, Wildfire is capable of breaking the speed of reality, travelling through Black Holes and to alternate dimensions. Later events would reveal that there have been countless versions of Ace Rimmer to pilot Wildfire, each passing on The Flame to an alternate Rimmer in another dimension to then also become Ace, and keep the legacy of Ace alive. This is perhaps the reason for the computer's apprehension, however.

  • Once upon a time, a loved and beautiful queen called Sarana was about to marry Prince Cavan. Sarana was the sovereign of the kingdom of Dar-Shan, a magic world placed in a different dimension from the Earth. But Queen Sarana's stepsister, Diabolyn, wanted the crown, and cursed the couple. Sarana and Cavan would be together only one year. After this time, both would die, like their first child. One year later, the king and the queen had a daugther, Sarah. But the curse started to work. The queen fell ill and, on her deathbed, she decided to send her daugther far from Dar Shan to save her life. She entrusted the girl to Wildfire, a noble horse, to bring Sarah to the Earth with King Cavan, who had lost his memory and was in his new home with a new name, John Cavanaugh. Wildfire left Sarah in a basket, with a magic amulet as her only link with her previous life. Sarah grew up, without knowing that she was a princess. But when she was 13 years old, her amulet started to shine. It was Wildfire that appeared to show Sarah her true identity and to bring her to Dar Shan. There she met Dorin and Brutus, Alvinar and Sanctuary Horses, that help Sarah in her mission: preventing her Aunt Diabolyn from becoming the new queen of Dar Shan. The first time Wildfire aired on TV was September 13, 1986, on CBS. It aired in Spain on Telecinco on 1988 as "Fuego Salvaje", in France on FR3 in 1990 ("Le Cheval de feu"), and in Brazil on SBT on 2001 ("Cavalo de Fogo").
