| abstract | - Ant Bacon appeared on Coronation Street as the Registrar who officiated at two wedding ceremonies held in Nick's Bistro: firstly uniting Tim Metcalfe and Sally Webster in October 2015; before conducting Nick Tilsley and Carla Connor's service in May 2016. Graduating from the Manchester School of Acting in 2009, his other credits include roles in A Very Social Secretary, Hex, Last Tango in Halifax, Ordinary Lies, the short film The Ubermen and the TV movie The Sleeper Effect. On stage he has appeared in productions of One Night Only, The Play that Killed Me, Lonesome Tonight and Sparkle in the Shadows.
