During the war, he attempted to kill the Nockudumey leader, Bodotor Thuvat, though only before learning of Thuvat's true goals. Thuvat was trying take the Nockudumey back to its founder's original intentions, which did not involve terrorism. Because of this, Daklif assisted him in the Nockudumey Civil Conflict.
