  • Chris Cook (born 10th March 1980) appeared intermittently on Coronation Street from September 1992 to August 1996 as Mark Redman and was the fourth actor to play the role. His parents, Christopher and Christine, were a joiner and a garden centre worker and their son, the eldest of their two children, developed an interest in acting in school plays and later joined the Oldham Theatre Workshop. His first television role was in a television advert for Dairylea cheese. Later roles included The Last Train and Steel River Blues.
