  • Nymph (天女, Ten'nyo, Heaven Maid) is a race of demons introduced in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. It act as an intermediate class of Megami and Yoma races. This race is not yet officially placed under any species due to its late introduction to the series. All Nymphs are Neutral-Law aligned.

  • Minor deities of field and stream, nymphs typically shy away from mortals and are often wooed by satyrs. Some nymphs have been known to choose a mortal life to pursue a mortal love.
  • Nymphs are a group of several races of spirits in the form of sexy young women said to be descended from Zeus. They are connected to nature and consider themselves to be Guardians of their respective spheres.
  • A Nymph is a minor female nature deity typically associated with a particular location or landform.Different from other goddesses, nymphs are generally regarded as divine spirits who animate nature, and are depicted as beautiful, young nubile maidens who love to dance and sing,They are believed to dwell in mountains and groves,by springs and rivers, also in trees, valleys, and cool grottoes.Although they never die of old age or illness, they could have give birth to a fully immortal child if they had sex with a god, they themselves were not necessarily immortal, and could be beholden to death in various forms.Nymphs, always in the shape of young women, were part the retinue of a god, such as Dionysus,Hermes,or Pan,or a goddess, generally the huntress Artemis, they were also a target of satyrs.
  • A nymph is typically any member of a large class of female mythological entities in human form. They were typically associated with a particular location or landform, such as water, forests, land, etc.
  • Nymphs are elusive fey of legendary beauty.
  • The common Nymph is a race that lives in the forests of the multiverse. Satyrs love dancing with the nymphs in the forest. Apparently living near water, Nymphs also enjoy gazing into their forest ponds and Nymph's pools as well (as depicted on the Magic Statuette of Eldritch). The magical nymph statuette was capable of speech. Snow Nymphs live in the Frozen Reaches near Daventry.
  • Someone who Likes alot of sex
  • Nymphs are like ghosts, except more annoying. They have the special action cold breath, and are capable of casting Lightning Bolt. Toss a molotov or fire bolt at them. Eating their corpse improves Will.

  • A nymph is an insect's second stage of incomplete metamorphosis. This is the stage where it goes through it's final molts (like a pupa) before becoming a mature insect.
  • In Greek myth, Nymphs were beautiful young maidens, who where also daughters of gods, and guardians of wilderness. One of the most famous types were the Nyads.
  • Nymphs are a race that resembles humans and elves except they have ebony skin as dark as demons and golden, cat-like eyes. They're open about their sexuality and need to mate with other races to continue their race because every child born to a nymph has been female for as long as they can remember. Nymphs lived in Survivor's Woods in Libaterra in the Third Age until the Battle of Survivor's Woods after which they scattered and began exploring the outside world´in small groups.
  • Other nymphs, always in the shape of young nubile maidens, were part of the retinue of a god, such as Dionysus, Hermes, or Pan, or a goddess, generally the huntress Artemis. The symbolic marriage of a nymph and a patriarch, often the eponym of a people, is repeated endlessly in Greek origin myths; their union lent authority to the archaic king and his line.
  • The Nymphs are the healing units amongst the bug colonies.
  • Wood Nymphs are the weakest form of Nymphs. They are green with skin that resembles tree bark, and leave a trail of flames when flying. They attack by casting a fireball that causes a thornbush to erupt out of the ground when it impacts, harming its victim. They can summon Scorpions to aid them in combat, and are commonly found in Greatwood.
  • Nymphs are innocent, pleasure loving magical creatures, perfect in form, but possessing no long term memories or extraordinary intelligence. Every day is new to them. They quickly forget any hurt they have suffered. Nymphs are slim, lovely female creatures who resemble teenage girls of extraordinary beauty. Some Nymphs have formed symbiotic relationships with trees, they help the tree and the tree helps them. the ones who have done this are more intelligent and have better memories. Fauns were their original counterpart.
  • Nymph (ニンフ, ninfu?) is an Electronic Warfare Angeloid Type β (Beta) (電子戦用エンジェロイドタイプβ(ベータ), Denshi-sen-yō enjeroidotaipu β (bēta)?), is one of the characters from Sora no Otoshimono series who mysteriously appears in Tomoki's house to bringIkaros back to the Synapse.
  • At least two different types of Nymphs exist in the magicla world. Both will normally have the body of a human woman, but with characteristics borrowed from their specific element:
  • Nymphs are magical creatures that live throughout the Magic Dimension. All Nymphs are mostly humanoid in appearance, it is still unknown how their nymphs form look like. Most Nymphs are known to have used their powers for good purposes and protect the Magic Dimension from the forces of evil. However some Nymphs are known to have allied themselves with the evil forces for their own selfish motives, such as Politea who betrayed Daphne and did not assist her against the Witches when she needed help the most, and the Ancestral Witches were able to place a curse on Sirenix.
  • A Nymph is bound to its birth Tree for life, if either dies both die. Such is the law of nature. A Nymph will merge itself into the trees and the tree will create a protective web of vines and moss to cover it, though you can still see the shape of the body and the face of the Nymph out of the tree.
  • While not a strong attacker, the nymph is nevertheless a very dangerous monster. The main danger of nymphs is that they will charm/seduce you and steal items. Once they steal an item, they will attempt to teleport away. They can and will use the most powerful items against you. Nymphs have a 50% chace of carrying a mirror and a 50% chance of carrying a potion of object detection. The three nymph species are water nymph, wood nymph, and mountain nymph. Together they form the n nymph monster class.
  • Nymph is a recurring Mana Spirit appearing in the Iris series. She appears in Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana, Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny and Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm. Nymph is one of four basic Manas aside from Mana of Fire, Wind and Metal. She is vital for synthesizing water based items and most of healing items require the player to make a pact with her. She governs the element Water and despite her cute appearance, she is quite powerful.
  • She is condescending toward humans, whom she refers to as "bugs". She was originally sent to return Ikaros to Synapse. However, because she is less powerful than Ikaros, she was unable to do so. Her master later implanted a bomb within her collar, designed to explode after the green bars on it disappear, which was later disabled with help of Tomoki and his friends. She soon develops feelings for Tomoki and later confesses to him. After the Gamma Angeloids attempt to kill her, she betrays Synape and assists Tomoki, later moving into his home. Her wings were torn off by the Harpies, but they regrow when she accepts Tomoki as her new master. However, in her delight at having her wings regrown, she forgets about the imprinting process and finds it extremely difficult to broach the subject to T

  • Nymphs live in the Emerald Dream and on Azeroth. Unlike the dryad tree spirits, nymphs and other migratory spirits of nature are prospering on Azeroth. They retire in distant places, avoiding the encroaching Scourge, and ignoring the danger it represents. These shallow flighty creatures simply move on when the land they enjoy is tainted by the plague or visited by war — and they have little concept that there will not always be another land, with greener pastures, just over the next horizon. Some nymphs have been corrupted by demonic influence to become tainted nymphs.

  • Nymphs, also known as Wood or Garden Nymphs, are good magical beings that frolic throughout the forests in the company of a Satyr, protect nature and the eternal spring, and enhance nature. They search along the outside world and spread and protect nature.
  • Throughout history, nymphs are known as beautiful women who enhance nature. It is unknown how nymphs originally came to be in existence. Nymphs are brought up by their mothers and often mate with male humans and run away with the child. The Nymph gene is more dominant and and thus the child will turn out to be a girl and be a nymph, unless the father isn't human but belongs to a male-dominant species. There are various types of nymphs that can exist, which also seem to be hereditary. These are: * Celestrial nymphs * Land nymphs * Wood nymphs * Water nymphs * Underworld nymphs
  • A nymph is one of several kinds of nature spirit or minor deity associated with a particular location or landform. Nymphs originally hail from Greek mythology, but some kinds also appear in fantasy continua, including The Chronicles of Narnia, Dungeons & Dragons, Discworld, World of Warcraft, and others. Eternally young and beautiful, they are a frequent target for Sueification, in which their more unpleasant characteristics—such as jealousy and instant death should their home be destroyed—are left by the wayside.
  • Nymphs are minor goddesses, or daimones (spirits) of nature and are responsible for its beauty and preservation, typically associated with a particular location or landform. Like satyrs, nymphs arose when Ouranos' blood spilled on fertile soil after he was murdered by his son Kronos.
  • Nymphs were Narnian spirits of nature that lived in the trees and waters. They were capable of leaving their tree and watery domains and assuming a physical body resembling human form. There were two types main of nymph; Dryads who dwelt in the trees, and Naiads who dwelt in the rivers, streams and wells. They were so spiritually tied to their places of nature that if it was destroyed then the nymph bound to that place died with it. They were also capable of consorting with human men and women, and could produce children with them. King Frank's and Queen Helen's princes are mentioned marrying the wood nymphs and river nymphs.
  • Nymphs were fey that typically resembled Tel-quessir women, not just physically beautiful, but literally blindingly so. They usually dwelt in forests, streams, waterfalls, or coves. They were the guardians and protectors of these and the portals to the faerie realm. It was said that their beauty could lead anyone who gazed upon them to either blindness, madness, or even death. However, they could suppress this ability if they wished. They absolutely hated anything that was either evil or ugly.
  • Nymphs are wild creatures known for their incredible beauty. They look much like human or elven women. Nymphs are one of the creatures that can be summoned by druids to aid their allies in combat. Though they are gentle creatures by nature, nymphs are well equipped to defend themselves. Instead of attacking their enemies directly they tend to charm or confuse them to make them fight each other.
  • Nimfy żyją w Szmaragdowym Śnie i w Azeroth. W odróżnieniu do driad, duchów drzew, nimfy i inne wędrowne duchy natury rozkwitają w Azeroth.

  • Nymphs are female nature spirits and usually take the form of beautiful, young maidens who love to dance and sing. They dwell in the hills and forests of Feyrist, often near lakes and streams and they can't die of old age nor illness. On Feyrist, nymphs can be encountered by lone travelers where their music might be heard, and the traveler could spy on their dancing or bathing in a stream or pool. Such encounters could be dangerous, though, as nymphs generally dislike to be stalked. These fae have a special, strong bond to the plants and animals of their domain and are very protective of Feyrist's flora and fauna. Nymphs emerge from mortals' dreams about love.

At the birth of Narnia, one female nymph was seen with two fauns, a dwarf, a bird and a hare, as they welcomed Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer. Nymphs were also later seen at the coronation of the King Frank and Queen Helen. Centuries later, during the Age of Winter, many Nymphs were stone prisoners of the White Witch in her courtyard, along with many other statues. During the Winter Revolution, nymphs were among the many Narnians in Aslan's camp, as they welcomed the Pevensies and the Beavers just as they were going to see Aslan. It is unknown for certain if nymphs were present in the First Battle of Beruna, but they were later seen at the coronation of the Pevensies, as they became the Kings and Queens of Narnia, so it is more than likely. There were also evil Nymphs that were followers of the White Witch. There were two varieties of evil nymphs, which dwelt in Poisonous Plants or Toadstools.

However, they could suppress this ability if they wished. They absolutely hated anything that was either evil or ugly. Their queen was more powerful than their king. They had the ability to wield the power of nature. They celebrated many different festivals. They tended to live near hollow hills. They were immortal.
  • Nymphs are a group of several races of spirits in the form of sexy young women said to be descended from Zeus. They are connected to nature and consider themselves to be Guardians of their respective spheres.
However, in her delight at having her wings regrown, she forgets about the imprinting process and finds it extremely difficult to broach the subject to Tomoki. By her own admission, it is not a difficult task, but she feels embarrassed enough to eventually back out of asking. Eventually, Nymph asks Tomoki to allow her to Imprinting on him, but he refuses, saying that he wants her to live freely. As an Electronic Warfare-type Angeloid, she has the ability to hack computer systems better than any other Angeloid. She is also capable of hacking other Angeloids as well as humans (Blocking or Unblocking memories and abilities). She can also fire a high-powered energy beam from her mouth called "Paradise Song". When being hacked by Hiyori, Nymph displays a new ability, a "fundamental particle-jamming system" called Aphrodite. When she is using it, she becomes immune to hacking and her wings grow into a butterfly shape. However, using it generates a lot of heat, causing her to enter cooling mode as a result. Nymph has high processing capabilities and has high emotional control, but as a result she doesn't have much raw power. She also has the most powerful radar of the three first-generation Angeloids (Ikaros has stated that her own radar's proficiency cannot be compared with that of Nymph even though Nymph was wingless at that time and stated that her radar was a lot weaker ever since her wings were torn off.) Nymph is shown to have a sweet tooth; her appearances mostly show her snacking on chips and other snacks, and she is shown to have a penchant for watching soap operas. She refers to the other Angeloids by their types rather than their names (i.e. Ikaros→Alpha). She is also an intellectual genius.
Nymphs could be compared to sirines, as they are both beautiful fey beings that take mortal lovers, but nymphs are generally not hostile and more inclined to frolicking and love-making than violence. They are also a much rarer sight than sirines, though neither sirines nor nymphs can abide captivity. If a nymph is held captive outside her natural habitat for too long, she will languish and die. The body parts of nymphs are highly sought after by some mages and craftspeople for use in spells or magical items, such as the Nymph Cloak. As a result, they are sometimes hunted; however, this is not the only way to acquire such prizes. Locks of hair are sometimes given by nymphs as a sign of favor or as a boon.

  • Nimfy żyją w Szmaragdowym Śnie i w Azeroth. W odróżnieniu do driad, duchów drzew, nimfy i inne wędrowne duchy natury rozkwitają w Azeroth.

  • Nymphs, also known as Wood or Garden Nymphs, are good magical beings that frolic throughout the forests in the company of a Satyr, protect nature and the eternal spring, and enhance nature. They search along the outside world and spread and protect nature. Nymphs are described to be personifications of nature, and must be allowed to roam free in it or they "suffocate". They have the power to grow, nurture and rejuvenate plant life and even create flowers out of nothing. They can teleport by frolicking into trees and bushes, fading through nature. Nymphs are the only beings that have the ability to travel to the eternal spring, which they are meant to protect.

In her new daily life after moving to Tomoki's, she experiences many of the joys of the surface that are new to her in a cheerful, a little childish way, fitting her appearance. She refers to the other Angeloids by their types rather than their names (i.e. Ikaros→Alpha). She is also an intellectual genius. Sometimes, she is depicted more spiteful than most other people, to the extent of being almost sadistic against those she rates to be lower. For example, in her time in Synapse, after receiving one of the frequent punishments from Minos, she goes to sing in front of Oregano's sisters, obviously damaging and/or hurting them. She never shows any regrets for acts like this, giving her a second emotional side to her usual one.
  • Nymphs are minor goddesses, or daimones (spirits) of nature and are responsible for its beauty and preservation, typically associated with a particular location or landform. Like satyrs, nymphs arose when Ouranos' blood spilled on fertile soil after he was murdered by his son Kronos. Nymphs are mainly responsible for the plants and animals within their own domains and were closely associated with nature gods like Poseidon, Demeter, Hermes, Dionysus, Artemis and Pan. They dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, in trees, valleys or in cool grottoes. There are a lot of different nymphs and each of the many subspecies has its own name depending on what they preside over. E.g. Naiads are nymphs presiding over the sources of fresh water, with the Limnatides specifically governing lakes, the Krenaeae governing wells and fountains. They are often chased by love sick gods or satyrs for their beauty.
Notably, no nymphs of any sort appear in Middle-earth, despite what Mary Sues will claim. Ents, as tree-people, may be similar to dryads, but they have distinct characteristics that set them apart.
  • A Nymph is bound to its birth Tree for life, if either dies both die. Such is the law of nature. A Nymph will merge itself into the trees and the tree will create a protective web of vines and moss to cover it, though you can still see the shape of the body and the face of the Nymph out of the tree.
These are: * Celestrial nymphs * Land nymphs * Wood nymphs * Water nymphs * Underworld nymphs It seems that Nymphs need to be around their natural environment or else they start to feel withdrawal symptoms. This is probably their greatest weakness, since if they are seperated from their environment for too long they are at their weakest, and could eventually die. As a tradition, nymphs are named after an element, creature, being or plant that represents their species.
The nymphs are fully described in Appendix Three of Manual of Monsters, however, the validity of the source is disputed.
