Originally a regional aristocrat, Gennon rose to fame in Chuder through his vast wealth. Gennon is also a pedophile with many beautiful boy pages. In the early days of building the Band of the Hawk, Griffith agrees to sleep with him in exchange for warfunds and supplies. Years later, he is a commander general who is put in charge of Chuder's defense at Doldrey. Gennon has no interest in taking part of the war until he learns that Griffith is near his doorstep. Believing that "his hawk" is returning to him, Gennon personally takes to the field during the climatic siege; his top priority is to procure Griffith for himself again. When Boscogn dies and Doldrey falls, all of the Chuder soldiers abandon Gennon. In the aftermath of their panicked retreat, Griffith privately confronts the lone general. While Gennon fondles his legs and contemplates Griffith's feelings for him, the mercenary remains unfeeling to anything the man has to say. He kills the general by stabbing him through the eye.
