| abstract | - The Battle of Hotel California was a battle between UNSC forces and the Dashan Resistance in the year of 2604 that occurred at Hotel California, a UNSC military installation on the colony world of Dashan, MOA-2007-BLG-192L System. It was a pyrrhic victory for the insurgents, with thousands of casualties incurred on both sides. The battle was prefaced by a rebel attack on Outpost Royal, a UNSC Navy signals intelligence center, and then led to tens of thousands of Unggoy, led by ex-UNSC special forces, storming M.O.B. Hotel California. The resulting assault led to a terrible cost of lives, notably with the death of Captain Raphael-M064, Field Commander of the Myrmidons. It would also lead to the near-fatal wounding of Redmond-M094, a Myrmidon that defected to the rebels.
