Plot | - Meanwhile Evan Slate begins making his move to propose his radical concept of a Neo-Gotham to the Future Gotham Committee. A concept that the troubled Bruce Wayne takes very seriously. Later that night the two encounter again during the latest Gotham Historical Museum exhibit; The Submergists, resulting in a bidding match for a painting named "The Gaze".
- After an accident during one of his patrols that leads a civilian boy in a coma Bruce Wayne puts himself on suspension from Batman, fearing he may be growing out of control. One month has passed and everyone begins asking the question, "Where is Batman?".
- Later on, having confined himself to only looking over the comatose boy for whom he felt responsible for, Batman begins to question himself deeper as he falters to stop a group of opportunistic looters from stealing from a bomb scene.
