| abstract | - Drowning Shakespeare (DS) were established in winter 2004; through numerous line-up changes DS finally had the perfect fit for their powerhouse of a live show consisting of: Bob Popwell, Evan Morrison, Christopher Poirrier, Ryan Tubrett, and Jonathan Wells. Drowning Shakespeare are a band from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and play because they love music. They're always trying to improve their style in different degrees ranging from Popwell's vocals' ability to put out a forest fire, Tubrett's sweet bass lines, Poirrier's mean double kicks, and Morrison and Wells' ability to melt your face with guitar riffs. They've broken skin, sticks, and strings in multiple cities across Canada, DS has quickly gained an ever growing fan base across Canada.
