| abstract | - Danny Lavirra is a character in the novel Final Destination: Dead Man's Hand. He is the ten-year-old son of Carolina Lavirra and supposedly had some type of learning disability, possibly ADD. Danny was a big fan of wrestling and never liked his mother's boyfriend, Roberto Diaz. Every now and then, Roberto would get drunk and "discipline" Danny after he shouted some hurtful words to the man. Most likely after he shouted some hurtful words to Roberto again (or while the man was in his usual drunken state) Roberto attacked Danny again, this time more brutally than before. Roberto beat Danny so badly that he wound up killing the child and left his body in his mother's living room. Roberto quickly fled and his body was later discovered by his mother.
