  • Riflemen are a type of skirmisher in Empire: Total War.
  • The Riflemen are a type of Guard that is an enemy encountered in the Scorch realm in Avalar. Whilst the normal guards, they launch towards Spyro with their scimitars, the squat Riflemen aim their musket-like rifle and fire. Unlike the other guards, they have lavender-like color skin; however, they do wear turbans like the other type of guard. They can easily be defeated with a charge or flame. There are ten total of this type of guard in Scorch.

  • The Rifleman is a class which Ghost Recon operators can act as. The Rifleman is the basic infantry soldier. They are the backbone of any Infantry Squad and, as the US Army calls them, the "Queens of Battle". They are proficient in CQB, Hand to Hand combat and the use and maintenance of various weapons and equipment. In combat, it is the Infantrymen that close in and kill the enemy.
  • Riflemen are the first standard unit of the Modern Infantry unit line, becoming available in the Industrial Age. Upgrading from the slow-firing Gunpowder Infantry of the previous ages, Modern Infantry is faster, stronger, more accurate and generally more versatile. Like all previous units of the unit line, Riflemen are effective in fighting Heavy Infantry, Artillery Weapons and Support Units. When used in quantity, they can be effective against light-armored vehicles and civilian structures as well. However, they are weak versus Tanks, Machine Guns and garrisoned fortifications like Towers and Forts.
