  • Boomerang Bros. (Hermanos Boomerang in Spanish) are a type of Hammer Bros. who, instead of throwing hammers, use Boomerangs as weapons. In Super Mario Bros. 3, Boomerang Bros. appear as enemies in several levels, commonly desert levels. In Mario Super Sluggers, they are alternate colors Hammer Bro. They appear in many side-scrolling games such as the New Super Mario Bros. series. They wear a blue helmet and a blue shell and matching shoes. In the Paper Mario series they were gray instead but were changed back to blue in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

  • Boomerang Bros. are fairly common enemies that appear in many Mario games. A Boomerang Bro.'s main method of attack is throwing boomerangs. The easiest way to defeat them is to throw a shell or the like to get rid ofthem. The player can also jump on them to get rid of them.
  • The Boomerang Bro. is another type of Koopa Troopa. Their strongest relations are Hammer Bros. and Fire Bros. This means they have to throw something in order to attack Mario. Boomerang Bros. throw boomerangs, which makes them a hard target because the boomerangs come back to the Boomerang Bro. Even if the Bro. is defeated the boomerangs carry on until they are out of view. In Super Paper Mario, they often appear in Castle Bleck on a stair or in the Overthere. They first appear in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door along with Fire Bro. Also along with Fire Bro they are only fought once in the Glitz Pit. In a preview they are confirmed to appear in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
