  • Superman/Shazam: First Thunder was a four-issue limited series published from November of 2005 until February of 2006. The series represents the first meeting between Superman and Captain Marvel. Chronologically this storyline takes place some time after the Man of Steel limited series and the Power of Shazam graphic novel. The earliest known meeting between each of the heroes took place in . Despite being included in the title, the wizard Shazam does not play a major role in this series. He does, however, provide some narration and appear in three of its four issues.
