| abstract | - The Loptyr Sword (ロプトの剣 Roputo no ken) is a special Sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. An evil blade that is solely bound to Raydrik and his Deadlord counterpart, the Loptyr Sword is imbued with a nefarious curse from the Lopto Sect. Like the spell of the same name, the sword possesses the ability to halve the attack power of all enemy units. The best method of countering this weapon is by harnessing the power contained within the Blaggi Sword. It is possible to obtain the Loptyr Sword without the aid of hacks or cheats; to do so, the player must have a thief use Steal on Raydrik, but instead of taking the Loptyr Sword, place a bow or another two-range weapon into his inventory. Then, have a character stand outside of Raydrik's sword range. He will unequip the Loptyr Sword to attack, reducing his magic to the point where it can be stolen using the Thief staff. Stealing it is not very useful, however, as no playable character can use it.
