A few years after the chunin exams he made friends with an academy student named Shigeru, whom he played with constantly until his death at the hands of Suzaku Kaguya. From that day he left the village with the kages permission in order to train around the world to beocme strong. He eventually encountered a priest who's daughter was dying because of her Jinchuriki status with the Nine tails. The beast was eventually sealed into Yusuke. he returned 8 years later unaware that his friend Hibiki was captured and persumably killed which was proven worng when it was revealed he was secretly trained by Nobunaga Uchiha. His renellion against the five nations resulted with a revolutinary war which Yusuke earned the name Yusuke Of The Red Leaf (レッド葉の雄介)and Yusuke The Black Thunder (雄介黒雷).
