  • Dragonlands
rdfs:comment
  • The Dragonlands are lands dominating the east of Zamarra to the east of the Battleground of the Giants and to the west of the Peaks of the Howling Gods. These lands are aptly named having been home to many Dragons, a beast for which Zamarra is so famous. The lands are now renowned for the many Dragonmen who live there.
  • Furcadia's official default Continuity (setting) is called The Dragonlands. The Dragonlands is a self-contained game world, meaning other game worlds or continuities are not recognized. The official Furcadia tabletop/dice RPG called "Furre!" is set in this specific game world. The official maps of Theriopolis and Goldwyn are both locations in the Dragonlands continuity. The Dragonlands setting was created by Talzhemir. The Dragonlands Continuity is Furcadia's "official" background. It's more fantastic than some fictional worlds, and less fantastic than many others.
  • The Dragonlands was a specific portion of the Heavens inhabited by the true dragons, and existed only in their eyes. They were much like the Empire, save that they were perfect in every way. All was in balance, as the dragons would have it.
  • The Dragonlands were a region in the Divine Realms, inhabited almost soley by dragons. The Dragonlands were set apart from the rest of the Divine Realms by the Sea of Sand, a gigantic desert that was very difficult to cross. In addition to the heat, the desert provided additional hazards through its inhabitants: Stormwings. Being neighbours, Stormwings were on good terms with dragons. The desert was not the only protection of the Dragonlands--they were also surronded by a giant magical wall. It is apparently sentient, as it responds to and communicates with outsiders.

Daine and Numair went to the Dragonlands after they were transported into the Divine Realms. They hoped that the Dragons would help them to return to the Mortal Realms during the Battle of Port Caynn in the Immortals War.
