- Frank Halloran is a young philosophy student and follower of Nietzsche's Übermensch concept. While out of college with his girlfriend Sara Shapiro, both are surprised by the struggle between Amazo and the Justice League. During the fight several lumps of rubble are thrown into the crowd and one almost hit Frank, but he was saved by Amazo. Superman apologizes to them both for the incident. Sara was angry and asked why they can't fight elsewhere. Frank apologises to Superman for his girlfriend's anger. Hours later, Frank is Kidnapped by Amazo who tries to convince Frank that he's a cyborg created to destroy the Justice League, but Frank refuses to be believe it so attacks Amazo only to discover his powers. After escaping from Amazo, Frank created a super resistant costume and became the superhero known as Kid, trying to overcome his robotic heritage. In the Meantime, the Justice League discover Professor Ivo's plans and agree to maintain surveillance on the boy, analysing if he could become a threat. Halloran becomes popular after arresting the Bin Ladens, a gang of punks, but after Wonder Woman tells Sara the truth about Frank, he invades the Batcave for answers, Batman tests a machine he created and realizes a new power in Frank. Kid Amazo finds Ivo and forces him to tell the truth about his origin, but the biggest surprise was finding out that his girlfriend Sara is actually his mother. After he confronts Sara, he destroys a house to get the Justice League's attention. The Justice League fight Kid Amazo, he uses their personalities to create discord amongst the team. The League decided to use the same tactics against him. It proved too much for his mind and Kid Amazo exploded.
