  • Elected to Parliament in January 3121, Corazon Trouillot quickly proved to be a strong campaigner for women's rights and social equality. In 3128, Trouillot contested the leadership of the Free Democrats following John Barclay's resignation. She was ddi surprisingly well and came in second place, losing only to Potter Swayne. Soon after his election as President, Swayne named Trouillot to the cabient as Minister of Internal Affairs. Swayne also named her Deputy Leader. After his defeat in 3133, Trouillot became the interim leader of the party. However, in July of 3133, her leadership was ratified at a special convention in Gevaro. 94.2% of delegates supported her leadership. Trouillot helped call for early elections in 3136 and saw the party lose 10 seats in Parliament. Humiliated, Trouillot resigned as leader of the Free Democrats. She served in the Senate until May 3144. She died in 3160 at the age of 81. Esai Monclova died two years before at the age of 84. Héctor Monclova became an air line pilot and died in 3152 at the age of 55. Alejandrina Colón-Zayas became a noted journalist and died in 3156 at the age of 57. Liza Malaret became a teacher and died in 3154 at the age of 52. Marisola Bondet became a university professor and taught classes on international politics. She died in 3167 at the age of 61. Melonie Vidal became a TV cooking personality and died in 3189 at the age of 81. Charlotte Guerra-Mondragón became a noted monarchist and even addressed the Baltusian Senate on the possibility of her becoming Queen. She died in 3195 at the age of 85.
