Akunus was highly sadistic as well, though not as much as the rebellious Ajuntus, whom he frequently clashed with. Akunus died on Harvest in 2530, when he attacked Addison Solaski, a human civilian whom was taken prisoner by his pack in 2525, but was rescued in 2526. He beat her unconscious, collapsing her left lung, breaking all but three of her ribs, and fracturing her spine. However, Akunus was soon killed by SPARTAN-132 before he could do further harm, and Addison was taken to safety.
