  • Robert Mayhew I
rdfs:comment
  • Robert Mayhew I was the Protector of Grayson in the mid-18th Century PD. Compared to his predecessor, Michael II, he was a weak and indecisive leader, who simply declared victory in the ongoing war with Masada, recalled the Navy from the Endicott System, and reduced its strength, turning all his attention to internal matters. In the power vacuum created by his weak leadership, the Conclave of Steadholders chipped away at the Protector's authority and prerogatives. His rule was short, and he was succeeded by his son, Robert II, in 1766 PD. (Companion)
