rdfs:comment
  • If a Ghast deactivates your portal and your Flint and Steel breaks, you have two options: Either begin the dangerous task of having a Ghast reactivate it, or kill Wither Skeletons, Blazes, and Ghasts to make a Fire Charge.
  • Fire Charges are Items that were added in Update 0.15.0. They light Blocks on Fire when used; to do so, the Player must "place" the Fire Charge on the block that they want to set on fire.
  • A Fire Charge is an item that was introduced in Minecraft 1.2. When right-clicked, the block selected will burn even if it's not flammable. Fire charges may also be shot through the use of a Dispenser, and it will subsequently light the object it touches on fire. The Fire Charge will not always go straight when fired, though.

Fire charges, compared with Flint and Steel, are renewable, but they require the user to gather its most important ingredient, blaze powder, which can only be obtained by killing Blazes. Gunpowder is also needed to make this item, but it can easily be obtained by killing Ghasts or Creepers.
