  • Tanel Padar is an Estonian singer. His first taste of Eurovision came in 2000 when he was one of the backing singers for his then-girlfriend Ines in Stockholm. A year later, he teamed up with Aruban-born singer Dave Benton backed by the quartet 2XL to perform the song Everybody at the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen. Their energetic performance won over the televoters, and Estonia went on to score their first victory, becoming the first of the ex-Soviet states to win the contest.
