| abstract | - File:Q2.png The Outer Compound is the first level of Unit 2 of The Reckoning. Here, Joker finally catches up with his squad, only to see them slaughtered in a Strogg ambush. He has no choice but the carry on with their objective. His first task is to collect a Data CD from the TCM carcasses, then find a way into the Inner Compound. Two new arrivals will be introduced by Hyper Blaster Guards and Repair Bots in this level, in later levels, Ripper Guards and Laser Guards join the forces of Strogg in Unit 2. A section of the facility has been ruined due to the crash landing of a Drop Pod called Rampage; an Easter Egg based on Xatrix Entertainment Inc's previous work, Redneck Rampage. There is a glitch on this map: if you get the data CD, then enter the next level, the Inner Compound, the game will tell you that you didn't get the data CD and you need to go back and get it.
