abstract
  • The Dark Forces Saga referred to this event as a confrontation between Zannah and "her sibling." Abel G. Peña, one of the authors of the series of articles, later acknowledged that this was a mistake. Instead it was intended to refer to Darovit, who was Zannah's cousin. With the publication of the novel Darth Bane: Rule of Two this event's place in the Star Wars canon has become unclear. Darovit does meet Zannah after she has become an apprentice to Darth Bane in Rule of Two. However, the point of conflict between Rule of Two and The Dark Forces Saga lies in Darovit never engaging Zannah in "a final deadly confrontation" on Ruusan. Darovit's death at the end of Rule of Two would appear to prevent him from being able to do so in a future publication.
