  • Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity
rdfs:comment
  • The Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity is a cartoon history that exists solely in Japan. Essentially, while in America The Transformers ended with a three part mini-series/"season four", in Japan they created a real fourth season dubbed Transformers: The Headmasters, which saw those titular characters become the main heroes and villains in the continuing conflict between Autobot and Decepticon. It would also go on to produce three spinoffs: Transformers: Super-God Masterforce, which centered on the Pretender Transformers teaming up with Transformers operated by humans; Transformers: Victory, the story of the clash between forces under Star Saber and Deathsaurus; and Transformers: Zone, a one-off special.

Needless to say, as this wiki only regards the first two seasons of the cartoon as canon, the Japanese continuity isn't part of the accepted lore; however, characters and concepts featured therein are fair game, and have also appeared in the Shattered Glass Universe.
