Rojas suspended one of his former top detectives, Ethan Bennett, for saying his thoughts on The Batman are wrong. Though Rojas thought little of it, when Bennett was transformed into Clayface, coming after Rojas was his first thought in his newly warped mind, thanks to the Joker; despite valiant attempts by Clayface, Rojas was protected by Yin and The Batman. He later fired Ellen Yin as well, but the new Commissioner Gordon had her reinstated despite her partnership with The Batman.
