For his first year and a half on BT he mainly covered Sony systems; news articles, reviews, top tens, and other editorials. In 2012 he stepped down as a writer to create a video series that would come to be known as Shinkara. On Shinkara Taylor exclusively reviews Japanese games, new and old, with a unique anime aesthetic and light-hearted style. Final Fantasy VII and Persona 4 were games that ignited his passion for games and his love for RPGs. Some of his other favorite games include Uncharted 2, Mega Man X, Resident Evil, Shadow of the Colossus, and Final Fantasy Tactics. Over the years Taylor has worked a wide variety of jobs that include a Home Depot Manager, English Teacher (in South Korea), and most recently as a Community Manager for a Social Games company. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
