- A Wooden Stick (Wood Stick in the Japanese version) is the first Staff-class weapon that is recurring in the Golden Sun series. In both games it is bought in the earliest towns the player's newly formed party can enter and explore; namely, the town Vale in Golden Sun and the town Daila in The Lost Age.
- The Wooden Stick is a 1-hand melee weapon with a base swing damage of 13 Bludgeoning damage. As one of the weakest weapons in the game, the Wooden Stick is of questionable use, as not even looters will have this as equipment. It is occasionally available for purchase at arms merchants for approximately 2 denars. Comparable to stones in its usefulness. | Desirability | - They are pretty useless, actually. One wooden stick yields only a couple of arrows or quarrels, but wastes a full use of the rare fletchery sets. Using the same fletchery set on a log instead of just a stick will make you happier. If logs aren't available and you desperately need arrows - even a few - then a wooden stick is helpful.
