Meeting him in Ultima Underworld II, the Avatar listened to Lord Thibris' story of the Loth campaign and learned hints about the Tomb of Praecor Loth and the mighty Horn of Praecor Loth hidden within (for example, Thibris talked about the eight map parts). Lord Thibris also mentioned the Guardian's interest in the Horn, which lead the Avatar to conclude that it would be an artifact worth acquiring. When the Avatar later killed Relk in combat, Lord Thibris wrote it off as a mere accident.
